Orders are due by February 25th, 2022 with the late order deadline being February 28th (will have a late fee) Delivery will be mid-summer. **GIRLS REGION BASKETBALL UPDATE**
Due to the weather the play in games for Region 8B will take place Wednesday, February 23rd. Bison vs. McIntosh and Tiospaye Topa vs. Takini.
2nd round - Thursday, February 24th will be Faith vs. Winner of Tiospaye Topa vs Takini @ 5:30 followed by Newell vs. Harding Co at the Faith Community Center.
With a win in the second round the Irrigator girls will be playing Saturday with site TBD.

Newell School District will be going with a two hour late start on Tuesday February 22nd. Any patrons that have preschool screening prior to 10:00 am tomorrow morning need to call the elementary office at 605-456-0102 to reschedule.
Just a reminder preschool/kindergarten screening will be held tomorrow Tuesday February 22, 2022. There will NOT be preschool or kindergarten tomorrow.
Congrats to two of our Newell wrestlers who advanced to state! Chase VanDerBoom will be wrestling in the 145 weight class and Charlie Clements will be wrestling in the 106 weight class. We will be having a send off in Austin Auditorium on Tuesday at 3:30. You will be able to watch it on SD PBS and on trackwrestling.com

CALENDAR CHANGE:
Saturday, February 19th BBB JV game will start at 4:00. There will only be 2 quarters of a JV game so the varsity game will start around 4:30.

The sophomore and junior classes attended the career fair hosted by the sturgis brown high school. They students enjoyed learning about the wide variety of career options available!
