The juniors and seniors got up early at 5:00 to head to Pierre for a day of government fun. When we arrived, we sat in on committee meetings, met and had pictures taken with Gov Noem and Lt. Gov Rhoden. The WIT hosted a luncheon with representatives so they could speak to the students. The afternoon was spent sitting in the House and Senate sessions and capped off with a tour of the Governor's Mansion. The kids learned a lot and had a great time.
On Thursday, February 17th, our students will get to hear Miss South Dakota Kaitlin O'Neill present her "BLOOM Into a Healthier You" presentation. She will be presenting to all of our students in grades K-12!

The science fair will be held on Feb. 8th and 9th. Projects can be brought to Mrs. Erk’s room from 7:30-8:00am on Feb. 8th. Judging will be Feb 8th. We will do phone interviews if you can’t make it. Projects will be open to the public on Feb. 8th from 7:30am-12:15pm on Feb. 9th in the middle school gym.
The business fair will have items and goodies for sale from 8-11:30am on Feb. 9th in the middle school gym. All grades are welcome to come and see the projects and buy items at the business fair.
Science Fair Awards will be at 12:15 in the middle school gym on Feb. 9th.
