Newell High School students are exploring careers at the scrubs camp.
Newell High School students competed in a welding competition at Western Dakota Technical Institute.
The HSVB game vs Faith, tonight October 25th will start at 5:00 with a C match followed by the JV and Varsity.
Newell School District sent out a preschool survey to area families the week of October 18th-22nd. If you have a child under the age of five and did not receive a survey, please call the school at 605-456-2393 extension 4.

Newell School District will be surplusing a 202 Ford Expedition with 244,954 miles. If interested in the vehicle, send a closed bid to Sophie Burditt at the business office by Monday November 8th at 6:00 pm.

MS volleyball game vs. Dupree will hosted in Newell starting at 4:30pm.
Little irrigator basketball for 1st and 2nd grade will be at 6pm in Austin Auditorium.
MS football will still be traveling to Dupree as planned.
Newell School District is surplusing a 2007 Ford SE Taurus with 149,346 miles. If interested in the vehicle, send a sealed bid to Sophie Burditt by Monday November 8th at 6:00 pm.
Newell School District will be having school on Friday October 22nd due to the snow day we had last week.
The Newell Irrigator boys and girls cross country team competed in the Region 5 meet in Philip today. Garrett will be representing the Newell boys at the State Meet in Sioux Falls next week. Garrett Finished 2nd overall, which is the highest place for a Newell boy in school history. David Kirby placed 22nd and Clint placed 33rd. The girls will be sending a team to state for the 9th straight yeays. They edged out the 4th and 5th place teams by 1 and 2 points. Rachel led the way with her 3rd place finish overall, she was followed by Bethany in 11th, Stacy in 20th, Natalie 23rd, and Sarah 27th. All 5 girls and Garrett will race in Sioux Falls next Saturday at the State Meet.
Newell School will no longer be able to accept credit card payments through Infinite Campus. Infinite Campus's new credit card company is not reimbursing the school in a timely manner. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
