Makerspace Keva Plank Structure Challenge, 3rd Grade. They had to work as teams to create an original structure using the Keva Planks. They constructed an old West train and depot, a boat and boat dock, a castle, and an old West homestead and corrals.

The Newell Junior Class presents Prom 2022 Shining in Luxury on April 9th. Tickets are $8.00 for singles and $15.00 for couples. Tickets are available now through April 6th in Mrs. Carrier's room. Out-of-town dates must register in the high school office by April 4th. Grand March 7:00 pm in Austin Auditorium.

The elementary students celebrated read across America day by having our 9th annual character walk. The student dressed up as their favorite book character and walked the red carpet while their classroom teacher read the write-up about their book. Great job students! Orders are due by February 25th, 2022 with the late order deadline being February 28th (will have a late fee) Delivery will be mid-summer. **GIRLS REGION BASKETBALL UPDATE**
Due to the weather the play in games for Region 8B will take place Wednesday, February 23rd. Bison vs. McIntosh and Tiospaye Topa vs. Takini.
2nd round - Thursday, February 24th will be Faith vs. Winner of Tiospaye Topa vs Takini @ 5:30 followed by Newell vs. Harding Co at the Faith Community Center.
With a win in the second round the Irrigator girls will be playing Saturday with site TBD.
