Newell Irrigators BBB and GBB travel to Oelrichs on Tuesday, January 2. There are NO JV games, the varsity girls game will start at 5:00, followed by the boys.
Leadership day for the HS/MS students. Thanks to the W.I.T coalition and the many volunteers for putting together a great day for all students.
Students had the opportunity to learn about the Science of Addiction, SDNG healthy choices, Mental and Physical Wellness, and South Dakota Laws from the SDHP. They were also able to hear a presentation from Chuck Houston and his drug dog Jack with the Bureau of Land Management.

The 7/8th grade team finished off their season with a 2nd place finish out of 8 teams in the Newell tournament. These girls played their hearts out today, we could not be prouder of them!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Candy Gram sales during the freshmen fundraiser! The Middle School girls basketball team got to go to the BHSU games followed by a team dinner at Applebee’s. It was an awesome time getting to check out some college games and many great memories were made!

The Sheltered Reality Drum group did a presentation at the Newell School this morning. They had a positive message about taking chances, never giving up, to believe in yourself, and to spread kindness. Thank you Mr. Steven Schoenfish for bringing them to the school.
