Congrats to the middle school volleyball teams today in Spearfish! 6/7th went 3-0 and the 8th grade went for a 1-1 finish. Nice work, ladies! Their last game will be on Tuesday at home. Come out and watch!


Congratulations to the Newell Board of Education for winning the gold-level board award from the Associated School Boards of South Dakota. This is the highest award a school board receives in the state of South Dakota.

Congratulations to Gavin Tesch on signing up for the National Guard. Gavin attended basic training in Missouri this summer. He will graduate from Newell High School in December of this year so he can attend AIT in Virginia in January. Congrats again and good luck!
