MSGBB vs. Harding Co. tonight will begin at 5:00 NOT 4:30. This is a change to the school calendar.
Traveled to Faith and 7th grade girls came away with 3rd place. 8th grade girls fought hard but came up short. It was a good day of basketball.
Mitch Reed traveled to Newell today to talk with the Newell staff during inservice. Mitch is currently the Superintendent of the Florence School District in Florence, SD. He began his educational career as a high school social studies teacher. He is the author of the book, Cardboard Confessionals, released in 2018.
Since writing his book, Mr. Reed has also delivered his message of support and encouragement as a motivational speaker. He has spoken to various groups such as schools, businesses, health care, agriculture, and the armed forces.

Grossenburg Implement includes two coloring sheets into their calendar every year. Newell Elementary School is proud to recognize three local Grossenburg winners. The winners from each store will then go on to compete for a GRAND PRIZE of a $200 gift certificate, which will be advertised through our Grossenburg Facebook page (online voting). Congratulations
Newell students traveled to Rapid City to attend WDTC Scrubs Camp on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Scrubs Camp is a great opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to learn about healthcare careers by talking to current instructors and college students. Roughly 80 high school junior and senior participants from around the region attended.
Don't forget to come out tonight and have a fun night of FFA activities, games, and food! 5:30 in the Multi-purpose room.
