Newell Wrestlers went to the largest tournament they have attended yet in Presho. The Mid-Dakota Monster has 30 teams from across the state. It was a great preview of who they may face later at regions and state. Most brackets contained over 26 wrestlers each. Our wrestlers put up a tremendous fight. Will, Joe, and Dyson were short of reaching the placing rounds despite their best efforts. Bodie was able to advance his way into 8th place. Our Newell Wrestlers represented themselves and our school well. They showed great sportsmanship even when matches didn’t go their way and were always supporting one another.
