Hats off to all the students from Newell School District and McIntosh School District who attended the Shooting and Skills Training by Black Hills State in the Austin Auditorium today!

'Dads for Donuts' was hosted by Mrs. McTaggart's Kindergarten class this week. A wonderful time was had by all! Special thanks to Robert Boylan for stepping in for dads who were not able to be present.

The Newell School STEM Night sponsored by the Title program was a fantastic evening of fun learning. Many people came together to provide educational opportunities for the students. The School of Mines and Technology brought teams from Chemical Engineering, the Museum of Geology, Mining, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, and the Baja Team. Outdoor Campus taught about wildlife with furs and tracks, and Sanford Lab made us think with their STEM challenges. The Dixsons shared delicious liquid nitrogen ice cream. The Ag/FFA team helped us make ice cream in a bag and plant seeds. Mr. Fiedler and his students showed their amazing skills with the technology from the CTE program. One student remarked, "This was the best night ever!"

Important information update per Mrs. Sabrina Harmon
