In true support of the local community and school, the Blue Line Diner sponsored and purchased a book for every elementary student in pre-school through 5th grade. The owners of the Blue Line, Dawn and Kurt Olson, believe that reading is fundamental to a child's success and wanted to share the gift of reading with every elementary student. Books were given to each student to take home. Books were purchased through Elizabeth (Deighton) Heggem with PaperPie Books. Newell School District is grateful.
