Results of the last day of state track. Dana Youngberg threw a 111’4” just missing finals by 4 inches! The girls medley team ran a great race coming in 3rd! Kayden Steele ran 5:59.46 placing her 13th in the state!

Afternoon session went awesome! Dana Youngberg is coming home with 5th place in shot put with a 37’2”! Austin Alexander jumped a 34’1in placing 4th! Lexa Burtzlaff jumped a 33’10.5” placing her 6th! The girls medley will be running in finals tomorrow morning. Payton Burtzlaff ran a 23.86 in the 200m and 54.21 in the 400m.

Morning session is complete for the first day of state track. Kyla Emmert competed in high jump and didn’t quite make opening height but jumped well. Aryann Hoffer came up short of making finals in the 100m hurdles but ran a time of 19.86. And the girls 4x8 team placed 6th with a time of 10.46! Stay tuned for the results of afternoon events!
Results from the region 6B golf tournament today at Hart Ranch. Girls team was region champs and the boys were runner-ups. Both teams will be competing at the state tournament in Yankton June 3-4.

Great showing at region track. Came home with a lot of medals and 10 athletes going to state track in Sioux Falls next week. The girls team is also the region champs!
