Region 8B Boys Basketball Semi Final round will take place Tuesday February 27. 2:30 - Timber Lake vs. Dupree; 4:00 - Bison vs. Takini; 5:30 - Faith vs. Lemmon; 7:00 - Newell vs. Harding Co.
Region 8B Boys Basketball tourney will starts on Monday, February 26th at 6:00. Newell will be playing Wakpala in Ausin Auditorium at 6:00.
State wrestling results from the second session.
Chase won his first match by fall then lost his second match by fall. He finished 1-2.
Taven lost his match 14-1 to finish 0-2.
Both Chase and Taven competed well and represented the school very well. Congratulations to both of them on successful seasons.

Chase lost 7-3 and Taven lost by fall right at the end of the match. Both will wrestle back this afternoon.

Thursday, February 22nd will be the Semi Finals of Region 8B Girls Basketball. The game will take place in Harding Co. The schedule is as follows: 2:00 - Faith vs. Tiospaye Topa; 3:30 - McIntosh vs. Lemmon; 5:00 Timber Lake vs. Harding Co; 6:30 Newell vs. Dupree.
There will be a short State Wrestling send off tomorrow (Thursday, February 22) at 8:10 in Austin Auditorium. Please come out and show your support to Coach Pehlps, Chase VanDerBoom and Taven Pharris as they head to Sioux Falls to Wrestle on Friday and Saturday.
For anyone wanting to follow the wrestlers at state on Friday and Saturday sdpb and trackwrestling will be providing live feeds of all the matches free of charge. Go to sdpb.org/wrestling for more info or to trackwrestling.com for up to date brackets and i believe the live feeds will also be on there.

1st Round of Region 8B GBB tourney will be held tonight (Monday, February 20) in Newell vs. Takini. Doors will open at 5:15 with the game starting at 6:00. Admission price is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students. Newell Activity tickets will not be accepted.
