2020 Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas Scholarship
Scholarships: The Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas will award twenty $500 scholarships for undergraduate applicants that exemplify the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” through volunteering, community service, and leadership.
Ten scholarships will be awarded to North Dakota applicants and ten to South Dakota applicants.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Applicant must have been a credit union member for at least one year and account must be in good standing.
2. Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited college or university or technical/vocational school in the fall upon high school graduation OR be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or technical/vocational school OR planning to enroll in an accredited college or university or technical/ vocational school.
3. Credit union must be affiliated with the Credit Union Association of the Dakotas. Application Requirements: 1. A completed copy of the Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas Financial Education Scholarship form including: • List of volunteer work and/or job experience • List of extracurricular activities and/or organizations • List of accomplishments, honors, personal achievements and/or awards received 2. An essay, not to exceed 500 words, on the following question: “How has your credit union impacted you and your family’s life?
