TUITION ASSISTANCE
a. The tuition assistance will be used to help fund tuition and fees; and will be sent directly to the school
to be applied to the student’s account. The sponsoring Titan dealer agrees to provide tuition assistance
as follows:
1. 1st Year - $1,000 per semester
2. 2nd Year - $1,500 per semester
3. Full payment of Internship/Co-op/SOE Credits
b. Student understands and agrees that:
1. They “earn” the tuition assistance over a four (4) year period; two years of part-time employment at the sponsoring Titan Machinery dealership while in school in Diesel Technology
followed by two years as a full-time employee at the sponsoring Titan Machinery dealership.
The student is required to sign an agreement acknowledging that (i) If the student leaves the
Program prior to the expiration of the four (4) year period, the student is obligated to repay
Titan 100% of the tuition assistance provided; and (ii) if Titan terminates the student’s participation in the Program due to performance issues, then the student shall repay the tuition
assistance on a pro-rated basis.
2. TOOLBOX AND TOOLS
a. The tools received are those required by the program of the school where they are enrolled.
b. The toolbox - Red, blue or black color as per requirements of the sponsoring dealership.
c. Student shall sign an agreement stating that (i) the student acquires ownership of the tools only upon
successful completion of the 4-year program, which is considered taxable compensation; and (ii)
providing for the terms of purchase, repayment, or relinquishing possession of the tools upon any early
termination of the program.
d. The sponsoring dealership provides tool insurance until the student takes ownership of the tools.
3. UNIFORMS
a. The Titan Machinery dealer supplies the student with Titan Machinery approved uniform shirts for the
student’s use while in school.
4. 4. EMPLOYMENT
a. The Titan Machinery sponsoring dealership agrees to employ the student during internships and/or
SOE’s and the summer break period between the first and second year. Subject to the sponsoring dealership needs, student availability and performance reviews, the student may also be eligible to work
part-time at the sponsoring dealership while attending school.
b. In order to qualify for the full 4-year Sponsorship Program, the student must be offered full-time employment with Titan Machinery following the student’s successful completion of the Diesel Technology
AAS Degree Program
