All returning 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students may pick up their computer on Tuesday, August 15, as follows. Each student must have the signed Acceptable Use Policy (pink sheet sent home in packet), the signed Tablet Computer Agreement (pink sheet sent home in packet) and laptop insurance of $25 per student or $50 per family. Note parent/guardian signatures are required but you do not need to accompany the student. Time: 1 to 4 pm technology office in high school Room 17. (If you have more than one student in 9-12, the forms are on the school webpage, http://newell.k12.sd.us, click on plus sign, documents, handbooks, computer documents: computer signature page and Acceptable Use.) These students may also come Thursday evening from 7-8 pm, Multi-Purpose Room.
All students in grade 9 and students 9-12 who are new to the district are required to attend a short informative meeting immediately after the Open House on Thursday, August 17, from 7-8 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. Please bring the signed computer forms and $25 as listed above.
If the student has a book bag with a padded section for a computer, please bring it when picking up the computer. Otherwise, a padded computer sleeve will be issued to each student.
