The Construction Industry Center is now accepting applications for the CIC 2020 Scholarship Program.
This year, again, the program is open to include all eligible students, regardless of their field of study. Up to eleven (11) awards five (5) industry related and five (5) outside industry of $500.00 each may be given to individuals who meet ALL eligibility requirements as listed on the application. Additionally, one (1) individual (from all candidates) who is deemed as submitting the best essay (see application for details) will receive an additional $500.00 for a total of $1,000.00 scholarship. The deadline for receipt of applications is March 31, 2020. A committee will review the scholarship applications and select the recipients. Winners will be notified by May 1 and scholarships will be redeemable after August 1 by providing C.I.C. with school registration confirmation.
Please assist us in getting this message out to ALL your employees by posting a notice in a central location or including it as a payroll stuffer. For your convenience, we have attached a notice as well as the scholarship application. Please feel free to make copies as needed.
