Insuring a Brighter Future Scholarship
25 -$1000 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who plan to continue post-secondary college or tech school in South Dakota.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, applicants must be any one of the following:
• a South Dakota high school senior whose parent or parents are current policyholders of Farmers Union Insurance
• a Member of the South Dakota Farmers Union
• a Friend of the Farmers Union Foundation (defined as those who have contributed $25 or more to the Foundation in the past year)
• a Participant in any South Dakota High School Activity Association’s (SDHSAA) sanctioned events
Award Criteria Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the applicants’ academic records, school and community involvement, as well as a written essay.
The deadline for applications is March 1.
