James H. Jenssen Scholarship
Eligibility Criteria:
Be a resident of SD and a high school senior OR be a resident of SD enrolled in an engineering program at the SD School of Mines and Technology or SDSU for the upcoming academic year.
Be a US citizen
Have a parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt or cousin employed a min of 3 years (or retired) with the SD Dept. of Transportation.
Have a current high school gpa of 3.0 or higher OR a min. of a 3.0 at the SD School of Mines or SDSU if currently attending the university.
Demonstrate the ability to become an asset to the engineering field.
Must not be a relative of James H. Jenssen
Award amount: $500 - four scholarships will be awarded in the fall.
Deadline: July 15, 2020
