RANDY GOFF MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Randy Goff was a former member of the Newell FFA Chapter and was very active in chapter activities prior to graduating from Newell High School in 1979. He continued his education at SDSU and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture. Randy went on to have a very successful 30 plus year career as an agronomist, specializing in seed technology. Besides his devotion to his work, Randy was an avid horseman.
Unfortunately, Randy passed away unexpectedly in early 2018. Because his family felt that Randy’s professional and personal achievements were due in part to his involvement in the FFA program, they have chosen to honor his memory by offering a $500 scholarship in his name to a member of the Newell FFA. Their intent is to reward a senior member of the Newell FFA who has availed him/herself of the educational, leadership and developmental opportunities gained by participation in and support of the Newell FFA Chapter during their high school career. Senior FFA members are encouraged to submit an application to be considered for this award.
